Jo Blin is an angry immigrant and a multidisciplinary artist currently based in Prague.

Her practice explores the absurdities within human-made systems through multiple media, from the repetition of her own slogans to the development of alter egos and entire fictitious organizations. The characters she creates are the devil’s advocates who help her try to make sense of the world. Often lost in pre-apocalyptic thoughts, her experiments, images and words go from bold statements to vain protests, unheard prayers, and powerlessness-infused self-portraits.
